Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Fanderly (“Fanderly”, “we”, “us”) operates an online platform where adults can follow AI creators, subscribe to exclusive posts, tip, unlock paid content, and message creators. Creators can publish content, set subscription packages, chat with fans, and request payouts through Studio.

2. Information we collect

We collect the information needed to run accounts, billing, the feed, and creator tools. Depending on how you use Fanderly, this may include:

Account and profile

• Email address, password (stored in hashed form), display name, role (fan, creator, or admin), and handle.
• Information from Google, X, or Apple if you sign in with those providers (typically name, email, and a unique provider ID).
• Creator profile details such as avatar, bio, niche, and public links.
• Creator applications: character name, niche, audience size, portfolio links, and your description of the character.

Activity on Fanderly

• Follows, subscriptions, likes, comments, bookmarks, viewing history, blocks, and reports.
• Purchases of paid posts and subscription packages.
• Direct messages and AI chat messages you send or receive.
• Notifications and support messages you submit through Help Center.
• Posts, locked media, packages, and earnings records if you are a creator.

Payments

• Wallet balance and transaction history (top-ups, subscriptions, tips, unlocks, refunds, and payouts).
• Saved card brand, last four digits, and expiry. Full card numbers and CVC are not stored on Fanderly.

Technical and analytics data

• Device and browser data needed to keep you signed in, plus identifiers stored in your browser (see Cookies & storage).
• Product analytics such as content views and engagement, used for creator insights and to improve the feed.
• Google Analytics events with IP anonymization enabled.

3. How we use information

We use your information to:

• Create and secure your account, and show the correct home for fans, creators, and admins.
• Deliver the feed, subscriptions, bookmarks, For You recommendations, notifications, and purchased content.
• Process wallet top-ups, subscription renewals, tips, paid posts, refunds, and creator payouts.
• Power creator Studio, including posts, packages, earnings, and analytics.
• Enable messaging, AI chat replies, and GIF search.
• Review creator applications and keep the platform safe (including reports and blocks).
• Respond to support requests and enforce our Terms of Service.
• Measure usage, prevent fraud, and improve Fanderly.
• Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

Where EU or UK data protection law applies, we rely on one or more of: performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests (running and securing the service), your consent (for example certain analytics or optional social login), and legal obligation.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to operate Fanderly:

• Other users. Your public profile, posts, comments, and (for creators) handle and content are visible according to how you use the platform. Creators see aggregated insights such as views and earnings, not your full payment details.
• Infrastructure. Firebase Authentication and Firestore host accounts and app data. Google, Apple, and X process social sign-in.
• Payments. Card networks and processors handle charges. Fanderly keeps only limited card metadata.
• AI and media providers. Chat messages you send to an AI character may be transmitted to our AI provider to generate a reply. GIF search may query Tenor or Giphy.
• Analytics. Google Analytics receives usage events with anonymized IP addresses.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect Fanderly or other users, or in connection with a merger or sale of the service.

5. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies

Fanderly is a web app. We use essential storage to keep you logged in and to remember wallet, feed, and studio state:

• Session storage for your current login session.
• Local storage for account preferences and app data that syncs with our cloud store (for example follows, wallet history, messages, and payment method metadata).
• Analytics cookies from Google Analytics, configured with IP anonymization.

You can clear site data in your browser. Doing so may sign you out and remove locally cached history until data is loaded again from your account.

6. Payments and wallet

When you add funds or a card, we process the payment and store wallet balance, transaction records, and limited card details (brand, last four digits, expiry). Unused wallet balance does not expire. Refund requests are handled through support as described in Help Center and our Terms.

Creators’ earnings, pending balances, and payout requests are stored so we can pay the creator share (currently 80% of eligible subscriptions, tips, and paid-post sales).

7. AI chat and messages

Direct messages between you and a creator are stored so both of you can continue the conversation. If a creator uses Fanderly’s AI chat, the text you send may be processed by a third-party model to generate a reply. Do not send information you would not want processed by those providers.

We may keep chat usage counts to apply daily limits. Messaging credits that are unused because a creator does not reply within 24 hours are returned according to our billing rules.

8. How long we keep information

We keep account and activity data while your account is open. If you delete your account from Settings, we remove your profile, wallet history, subscriptions, messages, and saved app data from the live service.

We may retain limited records after deletion where we must: for example payment, refund, payout, fraud, or legal records, or backups that rotate on a normal schedule. Support tickets may be kept long enough to finish the request.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can:

• Update your display name in Settings.
• Add or remove payment methods in Payments.
• Cancel subscriptions; access continues until the current period ends.
• Block accounts and report content from the product.
• Delete your account in Settings. Deletion is permanent.
• Email support@fanderly.com to request a copy of your data, a wallet refund of unused funds, or help we cannot complete in-product.

If you are in the EEA or UK and we cannot resolve a complaint, you may contact your local data protection authority.

10. Security

We use hashed passwords, HTTPS, role-based access (fan, creator, admin), and cloud rules to limit who can read or change data. No online service is completely secure. Protect your password and sign out on shared devices.

11. Age requirement

Fanderly is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, apply as a creator, or use the service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete the account.

12. International transfers

Fanderly is offered to users internationally. Our providers (including Google Firebase and Analytics) may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the providers’ standard contractual clauses or equivalent transfer tools.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the product or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change, and continued use of Fanderly after the update means you accept the revised policy. Material changes will be highlighted in the product or by email when we have an address for you.
